REPORTEDCRAFT
Enter the Deep Dark and transform direct speech into accurate reported speech. Fifty genuinely different challenges train tense changes, questions, commands, time references and advanced reporting verbs.
Before you enter the Deep Dark
Check tense, pronoun and reference changes.
No question word order after the reporting verb.
Often use tell/ask + object + to-infinitive.
Watch the pattern: -ing, infinitive or preposition.
This is a grammar-training game, not an IELTS band predictor. Backshift is not always automatic: context matters, especially for still-true facts and general truths.
Deep Dark Challenge
You no longer get the same ten questions five times. This edition contains 50 different transformations.
Three lives make the challenge tense, but a wrong answer now teaches you before you continue. You can retry the same level.
