Manual Neurodidáctico:
Cómo hackear tu cerebro en el Examen

🌬️ 1. Oxigena (Regla 4-7-8)

El estrés libera cortisol, bloqueando tu memoria. Inhala por la nariz 4 seg, aguanta 7, y exhala en 8. Engañarás a tu cerebro haciéndole creer que estás a salvo.

PART 1: READING COMPREHENSION 1

Read the text about a school visit and answer. Choose A, B, or C.

A Visit to the National Science Museum

Last Friday, our class went on an amazing excursion to the National Science Museum in the city center. It was a very sunny and warm morning. We gathered at the school entrance at 8:15 AM because the bus was scheduled to leave at 8:30 AM exactly. The journey was quite long due to the heavy morning traffic in the city, but we finally arrived at 9:45 AM. The museum building is absolutely spectacular, made entirely of glass and modern steel structures. As soon as we entered the main hall, a friendly guide named Sarah welcomed us and explained the rules of the tour. She told us we couldn't take photos with flash to protect the ancient artifacts. First, we visited the space exhibition on the second floor, where we saw real spacesuits used by astronauts and a detailed model of the moon. After that, we participated in an interactive chemistry workshop. The scientist mixed some colorful liquids and created a small, safe explosion that surprised everyone in the room! At 1:00 PM, we had a delicious lunch in the museum cafeteria. I ate a cheese sandwich and a fresh apple. Finally, we returned to school tired but very happy. It was a wonderful day.

21. What time did the bus leave the school?

22. Why was the journey quite long?

23. Who welcomed them at the museum?

24. What did they see in the space exhibition?

25. What did the student do at 1:00 PM?

My Life as a Volunteer in Scotland

Post by Elena - Monday, 14 October

Hello everyone! Welcome back to my travel blog. My name is Elena, and I am currently living an incredible adventure far from home. Six months ago, I decided to take a gap year and traveled from sunny Valencia to the cold but beautiful Scottish Highlands. Now, I work as a volunteer on a large organic farm near the city of Inverness. My daily routine here is totally different from my old, fast-paced life in the city. I wake up very early every day, usually around 6:00 AM, because we have to feed the cows and the sheep before breakfast. Right now, I am writing this post while sitting in the cozy, warm kitchen of our traditional farmhouse. It is raining heavily outside and the wind is blowing, but the fire is keeping me very warm and comfortable. The farm is huge, and we grow our own vegetables like carrots and potatoes. At weekends, I finally have some free time, so I usually go hiking in the green mountains with the other international volunteers. The landscapes here are absolutely breathtaking. Next month, I am going to travel to Edinburgh for a few days to visit the famous castle and buy some traditional souvenirs for my family back in Spain. I am learning so much English!

26. When did Elena travel to Scotland?

27. Why does she wake up at 6:00 AM?

28. What is the weather like right now?
