Buenas tardes, familia INGLÉSIPEP.

Vamos hoy a repasar algunos verbos en presente y en pasado. 

Pero antes de ello, vamos a repasar algunos verbos irregulares en inglés:

1) Presente continuo: como en 'are implementing', 'are thinking', 'are acting', 'are criticizing'.

2) Presente perfecto: como en 'has risen', 'has been', 'have left'.

3) Oraciones pasivas: como en 'is widely considered to have killed', 'was cut off'.

4) Adverbios: como en 'widely', 'significantly', 'correctly', 'mainly'.

5) Oraciones de relativo:

China’s coronavirus

 

The number of people 1) dead from the new virus 2) outbreak in China has risen to 8J1, 3) surpassing the number of 4) deaths in the 2002-2003 SARS pandemic. However, the number of new 5) cases  6) reported over the last 24 hours on Sunday  7) fell significantly from the previous period, something experts see  8) as a sign that the 9) spread of the virus 10) may be slowing.

 

SARS is 11) widely considered to have killed 774 people and 12) sickened 8,098, 13) mainly in 14) mainlandd China and Hong Kong. The response this time has been much 16)  quicker and countries around the world 17) are implementing 18) stricter 19) measures to 20) contain the 21) spread.

 

China's 22) leaders are thinking  to 23) ensure food 24) supplies to 25) crowded cities. They are 26) also 27) trying to 28) calm down the population 29) in relation to possible 30) shortages of food and medicine. They 31) want to 32) prevent panic buying, 33) like the one that 34) occurred after most access to Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak, 35) was cut off.

 

36) However, not 37) everyone 38) agrees that the authorities are acting correctly. People are very 39) angry that the police 40) reprimanded the 41) young doctor 42) who 43) issued a 44) warning about the virus when 45) nobody had 46) yet heard about it. The doctor was a 34-year-old ophthalmologist 47) who 48) died 49) overnight at Wuhan Central Hospital, 50) where he 51) worked and probably contracted the virus 52) while treating patients in the 53) early days of the outbreak. 54) Users of China’s Weibo microblogging service 55) have left 56) hundreds of 57) thousands of 58) messages  59) mourning Li’s 60) death and criticizing the authorities  61)for  62) the way they 63) treated him and 64) other people 65) who helped alert about the virus.
