Comparisons
Short words are light (add a tail). Long words are heavy (add a helper). Irregular words are mutants. Palabras cortas son ligeras (añade cola). Largas son pesadas (añade auxiliar). Irregulares son mutantes.

Count the syllables. Is it light (1) or heavy (2+)? Cuenta sílabas. ¿Es ligera (1) o pesada (2+)?
Short (1 Syllable)
Add a tail: -ER / -EST. Don't forget 'THE'.
Long (2+ Syllables)
Add a helper: MORE / THE MOST
Ending in -Y
Y flies away -> IER / THE IEST

Uses THAN (Never 'that').
