Purpose
Why did you do it? To act? For a thing? Or so that someone else could? Aim your arrow correctly. ¿Para qué lo hiciste? ¿Para actuar? ¿Por una cosa? ¿O para que otro pudiera? Apunta tu flecha correctamente.
TO + ACTION
"I went TO buy bread."
FOR + NOUN
"I went FOR bread."
To Action or For Object?
The most common mistake: "For to do". It doesn't exist! El error más común: "For to do". ¡No existe!
Purpose of Action
Use TO + VERB when the purpose is an action.
Exchange / Object
Use FOR + NOUN when the purpose is a thing.
Function of Tools
Use FOR + ING only to describe a tool's job.
